Fire Force is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. It is also is known as En’en no Shōbōtai, literally meaning “Blazing Firefighting Corps”. The first season surfaced on 5th July 2019 and ran for 24 episodes. The series wasn’t able to perform that well in the anime community. And hence, failed to make it to the top.
But, all these complaints and hate comments about the first season were thrown aside when Season 2 came in. Not only did the overall production value got a lot better but so is its execution, its creativity, and even its characterization. The critics were impressed with the second season’s overall setup.
As soon as the second season concluded, all eyes were set upon the next one. But, sadly no confirmed news of the third season had been announced. So, let’s discuss about the possibilities of Season 3.
Will There Be Fire Force Season 3
At the time of writing, Fire Force has not been officially renewed for a third season by David Production animation studios. Whilst an official renewal may not have yet been confirmed by the production team, it is highly likely that the anime will indeed return for Fire Force Season 3
The reason for this is because anime renewals tend to depend on two factors; popularity and source material. And, this series currently satisfies both criteria.
According to sources, the manga will likely end with volume 30. Each season of Fire Force has adapted around 10 volumes of the manga (with season 2 reaching volume 20), meaning that there is enough source material for one final season of the anime.
If volume 30 of the Fire Force manga is released in early-2021, fans could expect season 3 to premiere by late-2021. Don’t worry as soon as any confirmed new/release date is out, you’ll be the first one to know.
Where To Watch Fire Force Season 3?
