It was reported that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would arrive at Disney + in August 2020, despite the fact that the filming of all its episodes has not even finished. In the framework of this uncertain filming, it is that the streaming of the Mouse could have been finally deterred from insisting on the first live-action series of Marvel Studios as a summer premiere.
This week, Disney + published its schedule of new releases for August moreover The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are not among such releases.
As with any expected list of premieres – of video-on-demand services – the changes are recurring, so there are chances that Disney + will still include and make the serial spin-off of the MCU official within its agenda for the month. On the other hand, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is not the kind of productions that the House of the Mouse would keep much secret if the intention is to attract a larger number of subscribers.
Starring the famous Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes) and Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson), the upcoming show from Marvel Studios will follow Steve Rogers’ former allies in a world hungry for the new Captain America and abused by the evil Baron Zemo. Actor Daniel Brühl, who has already played this antagonist in Civil War, returns for the series, now excited to wear the iconic purple mask.
“I remember Kari Skogland, the director, came to Budapest and we recorded something of me being Zemo, and I was very happy and excited to see the mask,” the German acknowledged in a recent interview. “I was incredibly excited to come back because I remember having a lot of fun being in something completely different, being able to explore the MCU and be a part of it.”
Beginning the month, THR revealed that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would continue shooting in the Czech Republic in the autumn of 2020.
